Our Sunday Discussion Group is based on Spiritual growth in our everyday life and discussing how our spiritual knowledge and insight has helped fulfill our hopes and aspirations to be an inspiration to others.

New Group Leaders starting in September 2016: 

Gonzalo Lever
Bio: Originally from Tampa, Gonzalo is a public school teacher of 20 years with Hillsborough County Schools in Tampa. He has taught elementary school special education, middle school special education and for the past six years, has taught in juvenile probation programs. Gonzalo taught evenings in the Hillsborough County Jails in Tampa teaching adult males GED classes for 13 years. He currently serves as an underage GED instructor for at-risk teens at Gary Adult High School. Gonzalo holds a BA in Business from Florida International University, an MA in Special Education from the University of South Florida and an EdS in Education Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also coaches and mentors fellow educators, serves as a fitness coach for fellow teachers, and has trained and competed in triathlon for 10 years.

Rev. Nancy Christensen
BIO: Rev. Nancy Christensen is a semi-retired ordained minister in the Spiritual Coptic faiths. She served as senior minister in several spiritual churches in Michigan. Prior to her ordination she owned and operated a hypnotist clinic. Rev. Nancy and her husband, Harold, are now retired in St. Petersburg. She has found that meditation and prayer were major tools and began to teach classes in both. Rev. Nancy continues to serve as a psychic, teacher, speaker and chaplain in the Temple of the Living God and in local hospitals.


Greeters Ministry

Our Greeter Ministry is available Sundays and all events to welcome visitors to the Temple making them feel comfortable and safe into the church fellowship.  Visitors are given a "walking tour" and made aware of important features of the church facilities.



 Sunshine Ministry

Sending cards celebrating members birthdays; members and friends who are sick and in the hospital; if someone has lost a loved one; and words of encouragement cards.
