A Healing Ministry Ready to Serve You

The Healing Ministry of the Temple of the Living God affirms your wholeness and invites God's grace to resonate within all areas of your life.

No matter what the need, however great or small, this Ministry affirms God as the true Source of strength, guidance and healing. In expression of this profound belief, the Temple offers assistance, prayer and support through a variety of means within a spiritual framework.

As we focus on New Health Horizons, we acknowledge with deep appreciation all who serve as part of this ministry in the following ways:

- The Prayer Ministry All requests for prayer are honored by a dedicated group of individuals who are committed to the power of prayer and who include those requests in their personal prayer work. Requests can be placed in the Prayer Chest kept in the Temple lobby. In addition, during a special healing part of each Sunday, members of the congregation focus specifically on the requests contained in the Prayer Chest.

- Chaplain Services A chaplain is available following service each Sunday for prayer, to hold sacred space, and to listen and hold what is shared in strictest confidence. Prayer can also be requested by phone.

- Reiki Energy Healing Once each month following service, practitioners of this gentle form of energy healing offer individual 30 minute treatment sessions. Reiki, which means “Universal Life Force” in Japanese, is a powerful, yet gentle form of healing work and is even being practiced in many medical and hospice settings.

- Divine Healing Once each month, a part of Sunday service is devoted specifically to the healing needs of the congregation. Several practitioners of healing arts offer individually prayer and hands on healing to each person who comes forth during this special part of the service. It is not necessary to state a need or request; it is only necessary to be open to the healing process.
