A Meditation

God is at the heart of my being. As I relax my outer awareness, I am open to the deep, abiding power of the Presence. That power is available to me here, right here, right now. Everywhere I am, God is, revealing His perfect plan for my life to me. Now, I relax into a place of perfect wholeness. All is well. I give thanks.

Hopi Indian Messages to Mankind

The time now is to stay in the middle of the river, keep your head up, and go with the flow of the river... not against it. Those who still choose to struggle, will drift off the shore and will be left behind. Those who choose to stay in the middle of the river, keeping their head up will find great rewards...mankind.

There are two kinds of people in this world. The person who walks as “one” and the person who walks divided as “two” When one chooses to stay centered, at peace and not in the ego... there will be great rewards, vast peace and much joy in one’s life. Those who choose to let dramas and the ego continue to tell the stories that run our lives, will always be divided and never find peace as “one.” If the choice to “walk as one” in your whole being is sought for, it will be found deep inside the heart and all struggle will be left behind.

These are two very powerful Hopi Indian sayings, full of much wisdom and light. The veils in the world are becoming so thin, it is very important to fill and be filled with as much joy as one can focus on creating for ourselves and for others. This, too, is a choice. In every moment of every day, that which we focus on will gain momentum and snowball out of control.

I Am Grateful for New Beginnings

Great oaks from little acorns grow, and from this first day in the calendar year I expect to see a whole new life unfold! Today I begin anew. Last year's lessons have brought me to this year's challenge, and I accept it! With the wisdom of Mind and the courage of Love, I prevail.

Science of Mind

Prayer For Peace

We are guided. We are led. Infinite Intelligence now reveals to us the way to go. We are ready, willing, and able, and we follow the guidance we receive. We know that in turning our attention inward and making a direct connection with the Inner Spirit, every thought we think and every move we make is Divinely guided in the right way, at the right time, for the best of everyone concerned. Joyously, we accept this guidance, knowing that as we do we are helping to create peace on earth.

Words Toward a Creed

There is a creed to which, in my judgment, all free men and women must forever hold fast...
We must learn that those we like are not always right and those we don't like are not always wrong.
We must learn to seek change without violence - not even in word, much less in deeds.
We must face fanaticism with courage and idealism with caution.
We must be strong enough to be gentle.
We must know that life will always have unbearable stretches of loneliness and that we can never truly be understood, not even by those who love us; that we cannot completely understand someone else, no matter how much we want it.
We must have the courage to live without absolutes, without dogmas, the courage to seek imaginative escapes from the straight jackets of conformity.
W must learn to meet life with a series of tentative and impermanent approximations, knowing that the final goals may never be reached, that the last truths may be forever unknowable but that life holds nothing more precious than the process by which, to the fullest stretches of which humans are capable, we stretch the mind and heart.

The Best of Times

The Best of Times is now;
What's left of summer but a faded rose?
The Best of Times is now,
As for tomorrow, well, who knows, who knows, who knows?

So hold this moment fast
And live and love as hard as you know how,
And make this moment last
Because The Best of Times is now, is now, is now.

Now, not some forgotten yesterday.
Now, tomorrow is so far away.

So hold this moment fast
And live and love as hard as yo u know how,
And make this moment last
Because the Best of Times is now, is now, is now!

"Lo, I am with you always"

"Lo, I am with you always" means when you look for God,
God is in the look of your eyes,
in the thought of looking,
nearer to you than yourself,
or things that have happened to you.
There is no need to go outside.

In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful. Praise be to the Lord of the Universe who has created us and made us into tribes and nations that we may know each other, not that we may despise each other. If the enemy inclines towards peace, do thou also incline towards peace and trust God, for the Lord is the one that heareth and knoweth all things. And the servants of God, most gracious are those who walk on the Earth in humility, and when we address them, we say “Peace”.

We pray to God to eradicate all misery in the world: that understanding triumph over ignorance, that generosity triumph over indifference, that trust triumph over contempt, and that truth triumph over falsehood.

Jewish Prayer for Peace
Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, that we may walk the paths of the Most High. And we shall beat our swords into plough shares, and our spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation - neither shall they learn war any more. And none shall be afraid for the mouth of the Lord of Hosts has spoken.

Christian Prayer for Peace

But I say unto you that hate, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you pray for those who abuse you. Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they shall be known as the Children of God.

Invocation for 2007

On this day: mend a quarrel, search out a forgotten friend, dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust, write a love letter, share some treasure, give a soft answer, encourage youth, manifest your loyalty in a word or deed, keep a promise, fiind the time, forgive the grudge, forgive an enemy, listen, apoliogize if you were wrong, try to understand, examine your demands on others, think first of someone else, appreciate, be kind, be gentle, laugh a little more, deserve confidence, take up arms against malice, decry complacency, express your gratitude, worship God, gladden the heart of a child, take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth, speak your love, speak it agian, speak it still again, speak it still once again.
